Lot Description
A circular citrine and enamel composite brooch, set with a central circular citrine in a four claw setting surrounded by an enamelled flower and scrolling design with outer pierced border. Diameter of brooch 15mm. Weight - 9.2 grams.

Condition Report
The brooch is in fair condition commensurate with age and use and is displaying general scratches, marks and tarnishing to the whole. The central citrine is a pleasing colour, under 10 X magnification one can see small surface chips and marks to the table and facet edges. The enamel work is quite worn. The brooch is believed to be a composite, with different components soldered together to form a brooch, evident from the crude solder and repair work.
