Lot Description
An early/mid 20th century 18ct gold opal and diamond carved half hoop ring set with three oval cabochon opals interspaced by three old European cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight - 0.38cts, Clarity - SI2/P3, Colour - H/J. Length of central opal - 9.5mm, Width - 7mm.

Condition Report
The ring is in generally good condition. There are slight scratches to the ring, minor wear and tear, the inner 18ct stamp is quite worn. There is abrasion to all of the opals, they would benefit from a repolish, one of the outer opals is also chipped. The diamonds are all quite bright, there are surface reaching fractures to some that may effect the durability. All of the claws would need to be checked. Ring Size UK - N, US - 6.5.
