Lot Description
ROLEX - a 9ct gold manual wind gentleman's watch head, the silvered dial with black Arabic numerals and a red twelve, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, plain round case numbered 722993, hallmarked London import 1916, signed movement with fifteen jewels. Case diameter 30mm.

Condition Report
The case is in fair condition having surface marks and scratches, the top wire lug has had repair at some point to the left hand side, with a small remnants of solder, the case back hinge is ok and the back shuts cleanly, the dial has darkened with an even patina and light surface marks, the hour and minute hands are odd. The movement has signs of wear to the nickel plating, the top fourth wheel escape wheel jewel hole has been replaced at some point with a later one, the balance is free and hairspring ok, the movement is fully wound but the train appears locked, the handset function is operating, and the crown is worn, the acrylic crystal has a few scratches.
