Lot Description

A silver pair cased half  hunter pocket watch with movement signed by Thos Whiston, New Port, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and outer minute track, having a similar central dial, plain inner and outer case  hallmarked London 1834 numbered 39955, fitted with a verge fuse movement having pierced balance cock and round pillars, numbered 39951. Case diameter 54mm.

The dial has marks and debris but is generally only surface dirt, and is in good condition with no damage, the outer case has tarnished and has a few small dents to the back, the inner case is in fairly good order, the movement is in good condition, but is not currently running and the fuse chain is detached from the barrel.

The gilt hands are complete, the hour hand is a little distorted, and the inner front cover is missing it’s crystal.
