Lot Description

An eighteenth century underpainted horn outer case for a pair cased pocket watch depicting a lady and gentleman in traditional dress walking through the country with fern surround. Case diameter measuring 49 mm.

There is a segment of horn missing from the bezel, the case back has two cracks, and is lifting to one part, the inner bezel is filled around the crystal, the horn work has a darker patina to the edge, the hinge is ok, the crystal has lot of scratches and surface marks.
