Lot Description

An Egyptianesque brooch, with a central carved scarab beetle flanked to each side with phoenix wings. Length 5.9cms.

Total lot weight: No

The brooch is in very pleasing condition commensurate with age and use. The metal mounts are displaying general scratches, marks and tarnishing along with some discolouration to reverse and would benefit from a light polish. Brooch fitting is tight and secure. Scarab beetle is slightly loose in the setting and has lost some of its detail.
