Lot Description
A late Victorian diamond brooch with drop earrings ensuite, circa 1880, both decorated with shell motifs above a circular raised panel with diamond point detail and foliate surround and a matching circular brooch flanked with outer shell detail. Later screw back fittings to earrings. Back panel of brooch deficient. With associated box. AF

Condition Report
The brooch and earrings are in fair to good condition. All stones are present. Unfortunately, a few areas of the foliate detail are damaged and are slightly bent out of shape. Bruising can be seen to several places of the side panel of the brooch and to the reverse of the earrings. The brooch is missing the reverse locket glass and is tarnished. The screw back fittings are a modern addition.
