A late Victorian 9ct gold  Albert chain, circa 1890, with interlocking gate design links and suspended engraved seal. Weight 18.5 gms.

The Albert chain is in good condition in keeping with age and use, displaying general scratches, marks and tarnishing to the whole. Links are articulating freely. Maker's mark and hallmarks are clear and legible. Engraved monogram has retained a pleasing level of detail. Lobster clasp is tight and secure.
