Condition Report
The ring is in good condition in keeping with age and use. The citrine is a pale yet golden colour, the heraldic engraving retains a pleasing level of detail. Under 10 X magnification one can see widespread abrasion to the surrounding edges, along with some scratches and pitting to the surface. The shank is displaying general scratches, marks and tarnishing to the whole and is a little thin through age. The outer edge of the collet setting is displaying a stain, possibly from previous acid testing. Joining mark where the setting meets the shank has become visible under 10 X magnification. Hallmark is clear and legible. Maker's mark is rubbed and indistinct. Ring size: V.
