An early 20th century amethyst necklet, circa 1915, composed of a line of graduated collet set oval amethysts each interspaced by an oval link. Length 45cms.

Condition Report
The necklet is in overall good condition, in keeping with age. The toungue to the clasp has been replaced. Soft solder can be seen. It is stamped 9K. The amethysts are well matched in colour. They have a pale purple hue. Light inclusions and colour zoning can be seen to some with the unaided eye. They are well graduated, each stone appears to be a period cut. The clasp is in working order.
