Lot Description
A mid Victorian diamond, cultured pearl and enamel heart brooch, circa 1860, with an old European cut diamond set to the central heart shaped red guilloche enamel panel bordered with rose cut diamonds and an open work petal design surround of further diamond detail and eight cultured pearls and vacant back panel to reverse. With detachable brooch pin, length including pendant suspender 2.80cms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good condition, in keeping with age. The old European cut diamond and rose cut diamonds are bright and lively. They are grey in colour. Some are included and nibbled. The settings will need attention. The brooch pin and hinged clasp are in good working order. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen to the metal.
