Two early 20th century pendants, of openwork design, set with amethyst and seed pearls, the other with peridots. Length 4.0cms. Total weight 4.5gms.

Condition Report
The amethyst pendant is in good condition in keeping with age and use. The amethysts are of mixed quality and show a variation in colour saturation Under 10 X magnification one can see a large chip to the central amethyst along with light abrasion to the facet edges on all of the stones. One of the split pearls has slipped in the setting. Mount is displaying general scratches, marks and tarnishing to the whole.
The peridot pendant is also in good condition in keeping with age and use. The peridots are well matched and are of a pale colour. Under 10 X magnification one can see small crystal like inclusions diagnostic of peridot along with some light abrasion to the facet edges. The mount is displaying general scratches, marks and tarnishing to the whole. Under 10 X magnification one can see widespread shallow pitting to the surface. The pendant loop is associated and a later replacement.
