Lot Description
Two early 20th century rings, to include an 18ct gold five stone sapphire and diamond ring, with three oval sapphires interspaced by old European cut diamonds, hallmarks for Chester 1906 and a 18ct gold five stone ruby and diamond ring, with three circular rubies interspaced by single cut diamonds in a scroll design mount. Hallmarks for Birmingham 1911.

Condition Report
Both rings are in overall new condition. There are slight scratches to both rings in keeping with the age of the pieces, one of the outer rubies to the one ring is chipped and one of the rubies is also abraded, the diamonds are nice and bright, the inner hallmark and makers mark is nice and clear. There are some chips to the facet edges of the sapphire in the other ring, the sapphires are of quite a pale blue, one of the diamonds is chipped, the claws are quite rubbed and may need attention, the inner hallmark is also a little worn yet legible.
