A late Victorian diamond set lizard brooch, circa 1890, with a graduated row of old European cut diamonds, rose cut diamond detail and cabochon sapphire eyes. Estimated total old European cut diamond weight 0.56cts, colour H/I, clarity SI1/P1 Length 5.40cms With fitted case.

The brooch is in overall good condition, in keeping with age. The diamonds are bright and lively. They are grey in colour. Chips and inclusions can be seen to some of the diamonds. The sapphires are abraded. The settings will need attention, general wear.
