Lot Description
A garnet and split pearl cluster necklace clasp, with a central circular garnet surrounded by four smaller garnets inter spaced by pairs of graduated seed pearls. Stamped 9ct, weight 6.87gms, diameter 2.2cms.

Condition Report
The necklace clasp is in overall good condition. There are some small chips to the central garnet and abrasion to the facet edges visible with 10x magnification. The seed pearls are all quite well matched in colour and lustre, some of the claws have broken off from the outer garnets and one of the garnets is of a different cut. There are slight scratches to the setting in keeping with general wear, the clasp closes secure.
