A late Victorian diamond set star brooch, circa 1880, the twelve rays of graduated old European cut diamonds centered around a raised central old cut diamond. Estimated total diamond weight 3.99cts colour I/L, clarity SI1/P1. Diameter 4.00cms.

The brooch is in overall good condition. The diamonds are bright and lively. Dark inclusions and fractures can be seen to many of the stones. Some stones been replaced at a later date. The settings will need attention. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear and tear.
