Lot Description

A 9ct gold sapphire and diamond compact, the central 'CM' monogram set rectangular sapphire and single cut diamonds on an engine turned case, with mirror insert. Makers stamp rubbed, hallmarks for London, 1938. Length 5.50cms, weight 52gms. With a fitted Asprey of London case.

Condition Report

The case is generally in good condition. The diamonds are bright and lively. The sapphire have a grey/blue body colour. The hinge and clasp are in good working order. The interior material has worn away. Light scuff and scratches can be seen, general wear.
