Lot Description

1920's oval pedestal silver bowl with acanthus mounted scroll terminations and decorative rim. Hallmarked Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd Sheffield 1920, weight 17.7 ozt (552 grams).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

The pedestal silver bowl has lots of small light surface wear and tear scratches commensurate to the age of the piece. The acanthus leaf detailing and border near to this is slightly rubbed from polishing, there are also some other small areas of the border that are slightly rubbed from polishing, and gathered polish to these areas. There are some small areas of tarnishing. The bowl sits flat on the table, when inspected it seems not quite symmetrical but believe this is as made. The hallmark to the base is very slightly rubbed but still clearly legible. The piece is in a generally good condition.
