Lot Description

Three early twentieth century silver shell dishes raised on three ball feet. Hallmarked from 1900 to 1911. Lengths measuring from 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm) to 5 inches (13 cm). Gross weight 4.25 ozt (132.22 grams).

All dishes have general wear and tear scratches. The largest shell dish is very tarnished and dirty, and the date letter and lion of the hallmark are very rubbed. The two smaller shell dishes have a slight build up of polish and tarnish in the crevices. Both their hallmarks are clear and legible, one is stamped with the number 70796.
