A George V silver toast rack of angular form with frilled rim and shaped handle. Hallmarked Mappin and Webb, Birmingham 1933. Length measures 3 inches (7.5 cm).

The toast rack wobbles very slightly on the table, there are areas of gathered polish, and patches of tarnishing to the underside of the piece. There are wear and tear scratches consummate to the age of the piece. There is a registration number stamped to the lower inside, 779433.
