Condition Report
The pyx is in a fair condition, it has general wear and tear surface scratches to the whole piece. There are some small dints to the edge of the base. The hinge is in good working order and the lid closes flush. The gilt interior is bright with some light scratches. The hallmarks to the base and the reverse of the lid are clear and legible, the suspension loops are also stamped with the passant lion mark. The black pouch it comes with has a black string shoulder strap and looks to be leatherette, this is quite worn with the top of the press stud missing and small splits to some inside edges.
