The modern silver mounted cigarette box has some light surface wear and tear scratches and a fair amount of shallow point dints throughout, with light tarnishing to the base. There is a large split to one corner edge and a small split to the other. The hinge is in good working order and the lid closes flush, the wooden interior is in a fair condition. Most of the corners are slightly worn and show slight distortion. There are a few gaps between the silver edge and leather covered base, the leather is in a fair condition. There are corresponding hallmarks to the body and  lid, which are rubbed but legible.
