Lot Description
George V silver tankard with baluster body raised on circular base and scrolling leaf capped handle. Engraved with a stag leaping over a country scene, below which is written "DEAR LEAP." Hallmarked Birmingham 1922, the makers mark is rubbed. Total height measures 5 1/4 inches (13.5 cm), gross weight 11.69 ozt (363.7 grams).

Condition Report
The tankard is tarnished, particularly in crevices, and there's general wear and tear surface scratches to the whole piece, as well as a few small, shallow dints. The solder join of the handle is visible. The engraved "DEERS LEAP" is quite rubbed. The makers mark is rubbed and the last letter illegible, the rest of the hallmark is rubbed but legible.
