Lot Description

German three piece tea service, stamped 835, each piece with oblique fluting and leaf capped handles, together with an associated German tray, stamped 830S. Gross weight 48.5 ozt (1509 grams).

All the pieces have surface wear and tear scratches and patches of tarnishing. The teapot and sugar basin have a couple of small dints, the milk jug has a large dint to the main body. The gilt interiors are slightly faded. The hinge on the tea pot is in good working order and lid closes flush. All pieces sit flat on the table.
