George IV Old English pattern silver serving spoon with crested terminal. Hallmarked William Forrest & Co. Edinburgh, date letter is rubbed but is probably 1821 or 1823. Length measures 12 1/4 inches (31 cm), weighing 3.11 ozt (97.04 grams).

The George IV Old English pattern silver serving spoon has surface wear and tear scratches commensurate to the age and use of the piece, there are a few slightly deeper small scratches also. There are nicks to the edges of the spoon, particularly to the rim of the bowl. The heal has slight loss of definition. The hallmark is slightly rubbed particularly on the date letter and the makers mark is double stamped.
