Lot Description

Channel Islands set of six white metal Old English tablespoons with the makers mark JQ attributed to Jacques Quesnel I, with bright cut engraved stems and wrigglework detail, engraved P.N 1816 to the terminal, the pointed bowls with Hanoverian style drop to the reverse. Length measuring 8 1/4 inches (21 cm).

The spoons are in very good condition, there are general scratches, marks and tarnishing, some deeper scratches and a few small minor dings to the bowls. The engraving to the stem are in very good condition. Some rubbing to the decoration on the heel. JQ marked to each and clear and legible.
