Lot Description

Channel Islands nineteenth century Fiddle pattern tablespoon with the makers mark CWQ for Charles William Quesnel and scroll initials engraved to the terminal. Together with a similar white metal continental (?) example, marks rubbed, engraved terminal, ' Kohtz 15 August 1875'.. (2).

The table spoons show wear commensurate with the age and use with general scratches, marks and tarnishing. The continental example shows some rubbing to the definition, pitting and small shallow dint to the underside of the bowl. CWQ clear and legible. Both with personal engravings to the terminals.
