Lot Description

George II silver Hanoverian pattern dessert spoon with initial engraving to the reverse of the terminal, hallmarked London 1732, the maker possibly William Soame. Together with a Georgian silver Irish tablespoon, hallmarked Dublin, and a further Fiddle pattern example hallmarked Exeter. Gross weight 6.9 ozt (210 grams). (3).

Each of the three table spoons shows wear commensurate with the age and use with general scratches, marks and some tarnishing . The hallmarked London Hanoverian example in good condition for the age.  There is some pitting to the hallmarked Irish and London examples, also a little shallow minor denting to the bowl of the Irish example. A little thinning to the bowls in keeping with the age. The London hallmarks a little rubbed, but clearly legible, the Irish example with date letter and makers mark part rubbed and illegible, date letter possibly Z (?) and the Exeter example hallmarks clear and legible.
