A modern silver mounted cork wine stopper of tapered form, surmounted with a figure of a horse. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd, Birmingham 1991, total length measures approximately 4 1/4 inches (11 cm). Together with a smaller similar example surmounted with a cast figure of a fox, hallmarked A J Poole, Birmingham 2010.

Both wine stoppers are like new, the larger wine stopper has some tarnishing to the crevice under the tapered top, the hallmark to this one is also very rubbed and near illegible.
