Lot Description
Early twentieth century silver dual sovereign holder with bright cut engraved scrolling acanthus leaf decoration and vacant stylised shield cartouche. Hallmarked W H Haseler Ltd, Birmingham 1910. Together with a silver singular sovereign holder of the same date. (SD). Gross weight 43.0 grams.

Condition Report
Both sovereign holders clip closed, and hinges are in good working order. There's a very slight dint to the front of the double sovereign holder. There is some tarnishing and build up of polish to the inside rims, the hallmark to the inside is very rubbed in places but still just legible.
The single sovereign holder has four noticeable dints to the outside and general wear and tear scratches to the piece. The inside of the holder is very scratched and tarnished , the hallmark to both sides is legible. The coin holder is detached from the case and is bent in several places, with no spring.
