George III silver swing handle sweet basket of oval form with decorative piercing amongst engraved wigglework and floral swag borders, personal initial engraving and raised above a oval scroll pierced foot. Hallmarked Thomas Daniell London 1786. Maximum length measuring 6 1/4 inches (16 cm), weight 5 ozt (158 grams).

The basket displays wear commensurate with the age and use with general scratches, marks and noticeable tarnishing. Heavy solder visible to the underside of the foot. The hallmarks are clear and legible. No visible mark to the swing handle.
