A George V silver lined card case/purse with bright cut engraved acanthus scrolling floral decoration, and cartouche with intertwined monogram. Hallmarked Birmingham 1916, length measures 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm). Gross weight 2.28 ozt (70.9 grams).

The purse displays wear commensurate with the age and use with general scratches, marks and tarnishing. There is a compression crease/dent across one corner. The blue material interior also displying wear commensurate with the age and use. The hinge and catch are in good working order. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
