George IV silver snuff box with engraved detail, embossed beaded rims and gilt interior....

The George IV silver snuff box has some very light surface wear and tear scratches and slight tarnishing to detail. The gilt interior is quite dull, slightly rubbed in areas, tarnished to the edges with very small areas are peeling to the base. The hinge is in good working order, the lid doesn't quite close flush. The detailing is very slightly rubbed, more so towards the corners. The piece has corresponding hallmarks to the lid and main body, these are both rubbed but just legible. There is some damage to the interior of the lid where the rectangular cartouche was applied.
