Lot Description

Modern silver snuff box with a depiction of a dog embossed to the lid, marked 925 with Birmingham import, length measuring 65 mm. Together with a small engine turned box. Gross weight 45 grams.

Both pieces have noticeable wear and tear surface scratches, most could be polished out. There are some areas of tarnishing to both and slight discolouration to the lid of the snuff box, the edges of this lid are slightly bent too and it is quite tight to open. There is one small shallow dint to the snuff box and a few slight nicks, the stamped marks to the base are legible. The engine turned box has rubbed but legible hallmarks to the base with the London import mark and reading MW, 925, 1983.
