Victorian silver vinaigrette with shaped scroll edge engine turned engraved initialed cartouche opening to reveal a gilt interior with pierced grill, interior hinge at fault. Hallmarked G. Unite Birmingham 1876. Measuring 28 mm.

The vinaigrette is in fair condition, with general scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hinge to the grill is at fault and in need of repair. When closed the lid does not sit flush. Discolouration and deterioration to the gilt interior. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
