Lot Description

A pair of early twentieth century dwarf candlesticks with oval bases and oval sconces. Hallmarked Sheffield 1910 with maker's initials 'TAS'. Height 3.5ins (9cms).

Condition Report

The dwarf candlesticks show some wear with tarnishing, and small nicks and dints throughout, also rubbed detailing. There is some gathered polish to the underside of the detachable sconces, one sconce is stuck in its socket. The solder joins are becoming visible. Both candlesticks sit flat on the table. The hallmarks are rubbed and tarnished but just legible.
