George III silver caster of bellied tapered form raised on a circular base, with detachable pierced lid with shaped finial. Hallmarked to the base, London 1772, makers mark possibly T.S, hallmark to the lid rubbed, lion passant is just visible. Height measures 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), weighing 2.71 ozt (84.1 grams).
