George III silver cream jug with bright cut scroll engraving, personal initial inscription and reeded rim and loop handle. Hallmarked London 1809, the maker probably Peter & William Bateman. Height including handle 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 3.6 ozt (112 grams).

The cream jug displays wear commensurate with the age and use, with general scratches, marks and tarnishing , the engraving appears in good condition, personal initial engraving to the body and the underside of the base.
