George III silver cream jug with bright cut scroll engraving, personal initial inscription and reeded rim and loop handle. Hallmarked London 1809, the maker probably Peter & William Bateman. Height including handle 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 3.6 ozt (112 grams).

The cream jug displays wear commensurate with the age and use, with general scratches, marks and tarnishing , the engraving appears in good condition, personal initial engraving to the body and the underside of the base. The hallmarks are clear and legible, makers mark part rubbed, as described in the description.
