A late 18th century gold and chalcedony oval fob seal, the matrix carved with a hunting dog in alert pose, set in a plain mount with lyre shaped surmounts. Weight - 9.58 grams.

The fob measures approximately 2.80cm tall with the oval chalcedony approximately 2.50cm by 1.90cm The carving is in good condition, the surface of the stone having some slight surface scratches. The metal is generally good with surface scratches, slight wearing and small dents.
