Lot Description
CARTIER - a 18ct gold quartz gentleman's Santos bracelet watch, the cream dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals surrounding an outer minute track, date aperture to six o'clock, 'H' shaped case fitted to a 18ct bracelet with clasp, signed movement calibre 687, case numbers 887901 and 1687. Case width 31.3mm.

Condition Report
Movement is currently functioning, the case is filthy and shows signs of general wear with scratches, marks and tarnishing, there are some more obvious signs of wear to the case back but overall the majority of these look to be superficial and should polish out. The case will require a clean and a refinish. Bracelet is in a similar condition to the case and is missing a spring bar so is currently in two parts. Glass bears some scratches towards the edge, dial and hands look to be in a generally good condition.
Due to the opening of the case back we recommend that this watch be resealed by an authorised technician before use near water.
