Condition Report
The movement is currently functioning, however the hands have a tendency to carry each other around, in some cases this appears due to the positions of the hands, in others, it may be down to build up of dirt and detritus, the minute hand's horizontal position does appear to change dependent where it is on the dial. The date and day change mechanism is reluctant to work. The movement would benefit from a service. The case shows signs of general wear with scratches, marks and tarnishing, more apparent areas of score marks can be seen around the case opening apertures and to the case lugs. The strap is worn but useable. Glass is lightly scratches, hands are tarnished and the luminescence has degraded, dial looks to be in a generally pleasing condition.
Due to the opening of the case back we recommend that this watch be resealed by an authorised technician before use near water.
