Lot Description
A George III silver pair cased pocket with stop watch function, hallmarked London 1784, the white enamel dial with subsidiary hours to the twelve o'clock position, outer seconds track, signed Joshua Reynolds Coventry, signed full plate movement with pierced balance cock, cylindrical pillars and verge escapement, numbered 2232. Outer case diameter 52 mm.

Condition Report
Movement is not currently functioning. The dial has a noticeable crack radiating from the centre out to 3 o'clock, 8 o'clock and 9 o'clock. There is also a crack radiating from the centre of the subsidiary hour and minute dial, this runs from the centre to 12 o'clock and out to 2 o'clock on the main dial. There is also a crack to the bottom edge of the dial at 6 o'clock. There are small chips to the edge of the dial at 1 o'clock, between 6 and 7 o'clock and at 11o'clock. There are also marks to the dial, partially close to the centre of the subsidiary dial. The glass is missing from the inner case. The case has scratches and scuffs consistent with age. The lip at 6 o'clock to open the case shows signs of heavy wear and the right hand side appears to have broken leaving a hole when it is sits against the main body of the case. The outer case has marks and scratches as a result of general use and is tarnished.
