Lot Description
An 18ct gold Brillman & Co keyless wind full hunter pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and six o’clock subsidiary seconds, floral engraved case and band with engine turned case back and front cover, hallmarked London 1860 makers' mark RR, case and movement numbered 601, fitted with a three quarter plate movement with fusee, diamond end stone, round pillars and English lever escapement. Case diameter 50mm.

This watch has an unusual keyless design in the form of an integral key that folds down flat in the case back, and the hand setting is operated by a small knurled wheel which allows the tip of a finger to grip and turn setting the hands. The dial is in good clean condition with hairlines or chips, signed ‘Brillman & Co 76 Leadenhall St. London, 601’, the crystal has some fine scratches and marks, the case hinges are ok, the case has scratches and marks throughout from general wear and tear, the engine turned back and front cover have wear to the edges, the inner case has three small dents, pendant release button is operating as it should, the fuse movement winds smoothly and runs with a good amplitude, there are a few fine scratches to the movement.
