Lot Description
A Victorian open face silver key wind chronograph pocket watch, the white enamel dial marked Centre Seconds Chronograph with black Roman numerals and outer Arabic timing divisions, signed D.I. Marcuson, the plain silver case with milled band and vacant central cartouche to reverse, hallmarked Chester 1892, fitted with an English lever fusee movement with train jewelling, numbered 117004. Case diameter 59mm.

Condition Report
The white enamel dial has some dirt and debris to the the edge of the sunken centre part, no chips or hairlines, the gilt hands have tarnished slightly, blue centre seconds in good order, the movement is currently in running order, although would benefit from a service. The stop start sliding button is not currently stopping the movement. The case has general wear and tear with marks and scratches throughout, the milled band has a small knock to the edge, the case back hinge pin has broken but the back still locks in place. The mineral crystal has surface marks and scratches. The inner cover has a personal engraving John Marsh, 10 Peel Street, Dudley. Item is supplied with a Smiths box.
