A 20th century 9ct gold open face keyless wind pocket watch signed J.W Benson London, the white dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, the plain case with presentation inscription to rear, numbered 702925, hallmarked Birmingham circa 1950, inside is a fifteen jewel movement with Swiss lever escapement and numbered B5458. Case diameter 49mm. Together with two cylinder escapement pocket watches, one stamped 18k, both at fault. (3)

Condition Report
The Benson watch has a clean dial in good condition, the blue steel hands are in good condition, the case has surface marks and scratches, with a small dent in the main band, the gilt Smiths made movement is currently running strongly, hand set functions operating ok, the case back engraved with words 'Presented to John W.Barnes by J.Beardshaw & Son Ltd, in appreciation of Long and Loyal Service, 1905 - 1955. The smaller of the two fob watches has a gilt dial with darker tarnishing marks to the edges, the case engraving has good definition and minimal wear, the watch is currently running, hand set function operating, the larger fob has a hairline running the length of the dial, and having surface debris and and some marks, the hole in the pendant looks enlarged, possible with a replacement bow, the inner cover has some wear to the plating and is engraved A.K.Newent. the watch is currently in working order.
