Lot Description
A 9ct rose gold keyless wind full hunter pocket watch signed Thos Russell & Son, the white enamel dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock all surrounded by an outer minute track, the plain case with floral bands hallmarked Chester 1917, fitted with a nine jewel three quarter plate movement with Swiss lever escapement. Case diameter approximately 49.8mm.

Condition Report
Movement is not currently functioning with a broken balance staff being the most obvious problem. It will require an overhaul. The case shows signs of general wear with light scratches, marks and tarnishing, dints to the front and back. There are some deeper marks to the bezel. Glass is gone. Hands are tarnished and foul each other. Dial is dirty and there are marks to the subsidiary seconds dial from the seconds hand. A hairline crack is apparent between eight and nine o'clock.
