A modern silver mounted desk ink stand, the rectangular wooden base with fluted edge inlaid with scroll embossed silver, two silver mounted glass inkwells and silver fountain pen. Hallmarked Carr's of Sheffield Ltd 1996/7. Length of base measuring 6 ¾ inches (17 cm).

The desk ink stand displays general scratches and marks, the silver displays tarnishing and would benefit from a clean. The silver inlaid to the wooden base has become unfixed from the wood. The hallmarks to all parts are clear and legible.
