Lot Description

An early 20th century amethyst, peridot and split pearl necklet, the central pear cut amethyst  flanked by trap cut peridots, interspaced by split pearls, with three suspended drops. Length  of chain 41cms. Weight 9.8gms.

Overall condition good, minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. The necklet would benefit from a clean, clasp is in good working order. The central amethyst has nibbles to the central girdle, there are nibbles to the facet edges of the peridots, and there is a chip to one of the brilliant cut amethysts. The stones have a good colour and are well matched. There are inclusions visible to the stones under magnification.
