A 19th century seal fob, the rectangular seal depicting a coat of arms on a scroll design grip. The seal is believed to be for Revd Henry Wright (? - 1864) of Mottram Hall. Length 3cms. Weight 11.6gms.

Condition Report
The fob/seal is in overall good condition. Tarnish, scratches and dents can be seen to the fob, general wear. Minor nibbles can be seen to the seal.

The seal is believe to be for Revd Henry Wright (? - 1864) of Mottram Hall, Prestbury, near Macclesfield, Cheshire who married Mary Catherine (? - 1867), daughter of the Revd Thomas Adnutt, Rector of Croft
The couple's only son predeceased them aged 21 and Mottran Hall ultimately devolved upon their youngest daughter Julia Catherine, whose husband, Captain James Street, JP, adopted the name Wright by Royal Licence in 1865.
A hatchment to Mary Catherine Wright was recorded in 1988 in Adlington Hall, just NE of Mottram St Andrew.
