Lot Description
Three Victorian stone set rings, to include an early Victorian cluster ring, circa 1840, the central oval ruby within a split pearl surround, an opal, emerald and ruby cluster ring on a scroll design band (one stone deficient) and a 15ct gold garnet ring, the oval garnet flanked by a trefoil of split pearls. Hallmarks for Birmingham 1863. Weight 7gms. AF.

Condition Report
All three rings are in fair/poor condition. There is an opal missing from the cluster ring, the green and red stones are abraded and chipped, the ring has been reshanked with joins visible to the inner shoulders. The central garnet to the other ring is seriously chipped, there is damage to the nacre of one of the outer split pearls, one of the ball detail sections is missing, the inner hallmark is quite clear. The shank to the ruby and split pearl cluster ring appears to have been added, two of the split pearls are damaged with cracks to the nacre.
